Soccer has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Like many young athletes, I dreamed of making a career on the field. Life took me down a different path, and for a while, I believed that chapter had come to an end.

Years later, I found my way back to the game, but from the sidelines, with a camera in my hands.

What once felt like a goodbye became a new beginning. Today, every match is an opportunity to reconnect with the sport that shaped me while telling the stories of the athletes who are still living the dream I once had.

Because I've been in their shoes, I know that the most important moments aren't always the goals. Sometimes they're found in the look before kickoff, the relief after the final whistle, or the embrace shared between teammates.

Photography gave me a new way to belong to the game. And every image I create is my way of giving something back to the sport that has given me so much.
